If you have always wanted to pick up Firewall: Zero Hour, but haven’t gotten around to it yet or more realistically, its January and everyone is broke, then fret not because this weekend you can play a trial of the VR hit as long as you have an active subscription to PS Plus.
First Contact Entertainment, the studio behind the title took to the PlayStation blog to announce that from 18th-20th January, PS Plus subscribers can jump into a trial demo with a lot of the elements that can be found in the full game like single player training – Player vs. AI, Multiplayer Training – Co-op vs AI, and Multiplayer Contracts – PVP Players vs Players, as well as the entire roster of maps in the game, including the newly added map, Containment.
Also, if you do decide to buy Firewall: Zero Hour after your free trial weekend, you’ll be pleased to know that XP/Crypto you earn in-game will carry over to the main game hence making things a little more comfortable as you slip into the full game again, although any trophies you happen to get during the weekend trial demo do not carry over upon purchase of the full game.
In December last year, we saw the title receive a free DLC which saw the arrival of a free new map called Containment, plus a free in-game Ornament Trinket that could be attached to any weapon.
Staff writer Grant wrote about how Firewall: Zero Hour showed him how VR changed first-person shooter landscape and we also reviewed the title too if you would like to read about it before jumping in.
The Firewall: Zero Hour trial will be free from this Friday 18th January until Sunday 20th January on PS4.
